El Plan B est un court-métrage du réalisateur et scénariste espagnol Jose Bors. Fin 2006, alors que le tournage arrive à son terme, il part à la recherche de musique libre pour illustrer son film. C’est en navigant sur le site Jamendo qu’il est séduit par la musique de Transe Lucide, le premier album de Rafiralfiro, qu’il contacte aussitôt pour obtenir l’autorisation d’utiliser sa musique. Emballé par le scénario et les premières images du film, le musicien lui propose même de composer le thème central du film (Celeste – Harp Song). Quelques mois plus tard, El Plan B est présenté hors-compétition au festival international du film de Gijon (Espagne), où il reçoit un très bon accueil des critiques.
C’est en 2008 que Rafiralfiro, débarqué entre-temps chez les poulpes, décide de donner une deuxième vie à cette collaboration, en décidant de sortir la bande originale sous forme de EP sur son netlabel préféré, les cinq morceaux qui composent cette BO ayant tous été retravaillés depuis.
Une “Release Party” sera donné pour l’occasion le premier août à Paris, avec au programme concerts et projections du film.

El Plan B is a short movie from the spanish scenarist and director Jose Bors. In the late 2006, when the shooting comes to an end, he decide to seek for free music to illustrate his movie. Surfing on Jamendo’s website, he’s seduced by Transe Lucide, the first Lp from Rafiralfiro, a french composer he immediately contacts to obtain the authorization to use his music. Totally convinced by the script and the first pictures from the film, the musician will compose the central theme for the movie (Celeste – Harp Song). A few months later, the movie is presented in Gijon’s International Movie Festival (Spain), where he’s really well received by the critics.
In 2008 Rafiralfiro, now part of the poulps crew, decides to give second breathe to this collaboration by releasing the soundtrack as an EP on his favorite netlabel, with all 5 tracks released in brand new versions.
A release party will take place in Paris on august the 1st, with gigs and movie projections.
